TINA PAVLATOS

I am a freelance Medical Illustrator based in Ohio with 20 years of experience.  My lifelong interest in science and art combines every time I create informative medical illustrations. With each new project I focus on showing complicated medical information in an accurate and understandable way that is appropriate for the intended audience.

I have a BFA in Medical Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art. This degree included acquiring a broad range of digital illustration and artistic training.  I also received extensive graduate level medical and scientific knowledge from courses such as: cadaver dissection, histology, pathology, embryology and comparative anatomy at Case Western Reserve University.

I have worked with authors and publishing companies to illustrate books such as: “Salt Kills” by Dr Neravetla, “The Willpower Instinct” by Kelly McGonigal, “The Little Black Book of Neuropsychology”, Dr. Mike Schoenberg, “Nelson Essentials of Pediatrics” Elsevier.

I have also created illustrations for: JEMS Magazine, Kettering Medical Center, Joint Program of Great Dayton, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, UCLA Medical Center, The Retina Center of Ohio and UT Southwestern Medical Center .  (See below  of page for a complete list of clients)
